This consistency provides a good indication that lake conditions are tracking similarly to last season and should allow for continued recreational use throughout the coming weeks.

While some coves and shallower areas are warming up, portions of the lake remain cold. Water temperatures below 60 degrees can create a serious risk of hypothermia if someone unexpectedly enters the water.
Boaters, kayakers, paddleboarders, and anglers should continue to exercise caution, wear life jackets, and be prepared for changing conditions.
